Christian A. Templeman – Associate Vice President & Financial Advisor, Morgan Stanley

Christian A. Templeman, financial advisor, based in Greenwich. Chris focuses on helping non-profit organizations manage and attract capital.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2005, Mr. Templeman worked for 14-years in the non-profit sector, most recently as executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Rochelle. As executive director, he had many accomplishments including tripling annual revenue, opening two new locations, launching a strategic plan centered on a “culture of excellence” and restructuring the Board of Directors.

Mr. Templeman is a member of Session at Larchmont Avenue Church, serving as chair of the Welcoming Committee. He is a member of the Morgan Stanley National Diversity & Inclusion Council serving as Chair of the Inclusive Leadership Subcommittee. He is a member of the Nonprofit Westchester, the Association of Development Officers, Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County and the Community Advisory Board of the Junior League of Westchester of the Sound. He has served on the Board of Directors of the STEM Alliance of Larchmont-Mamaroneck as Vice President, Resource Development. He is an avid runner having completed nine New York City marathons and one Boston Marathon for charity.

Mr. Templeman attained his Series 7, 66 and health and life insurance certifications as well as his Financial Planning Associate designation from Smith Barney. He completed the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist Professional Designation Programs from The College for Financial Planning®. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Philosophy.
